Hi. My name is Kristen Hammel and I am a first grade teacher in Maryland. I am in my fourth year of teaching and now beginning my Masters program in Early Childhood Education at Walden University. I am very excited for this new journey I am embarking on and am excited to share my experiences with you.

    I enjoy looking and reflecting on your collage. You did nice job of creating art for diversity. I especially like the A for Activist. We, as educators, are activist for the children and families we serve. Thank you for sharing.

    I really enjoyed looking at all of the elements in your collage. I especially enjoyed reading the Malaguzzi quote about schools embracing children’s differences. I think that your collage really illustrated the idea of diversity and promoting togetherness of people who have differences between them. Thanks for sharing your art!
